Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to an accessible service, what works today, known limitations, and how to get help.

You are viewing the static copy of this page (scripts have not loaded). All content below is complete and current.

Demiurge Systems Ltd wants everyone, including disabled people, to be able to find out about our services, read our policies, and contact us without barriers. This statement describes honestly where we are today.

Our commitment

We are committed to providing an inclusive service and to making reasonable adjustments for disabled users, consistent with our duties under the Equality Act 2010. Accessibility issues are treated as defects, not enhancement requests.

Scope of this statement

This statement covers the public website at demiurge.systems, including the legal and policy pages and the contact and signup journeys.

It does not yet cover the authenticated customer Console at console.demiurge.systems, which is being assessed separately — see “Known limitations”.

Some journeys hand off to third-party surfaces we do not control (for example our payment processor’s hosted checkout); those providers publish their own accessibility information.

Target standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We do not claim certification against any standard, and no completed third-party audit currently exists.

What you should be able to do

Based on our own testing of this site, you should be able to:

  • navigate the site using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “Skip to content” link on each page;
  • read pages with a logical heading structure and named landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer);
  • zoom the page and enlarge text without content or functionality being cut off;
  • complete the contact form with every field labelled, errors announced in text, and your input preserved after a validation failure;
  • use the site with reduced motion enabled — decorative animation is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion;
  • read the legal and accessibility pages even if JavaScript fails, via a built-in static fallback of the same content.

Conformance status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: parts of the content do not yet fully conform, as listed under “Known limitations”. “Partially conformant” means some content does not fully meet the standard. We publish this status on the basis of self-evaluation, not an independent audit.

Known limitations

  • Authenticated Console — the customer Console application has not yet completed an accessibility assessment; keyboard and screen-reader support there is not yet verified. Alternative: every account task can be handled by contacting us directly. A Console assessment is the next planned phase, with a review of this statement by 1 February 2027.
  • Screen-reader test coverage — this site has been reviewed against screen-reader semantics in code and automated checks, but a full manual screen-reader test record (e.g. VoiceOver, NVDA) is not yet complete. Review planned by 1 February 2027.
  • Marketing pages require JavaScript — the landing pages render client-side; with JavaScript disabled they show a text notice instead of full content (WCAG conformance is assessed with JavaScript on). The legal and accessibility pages include a static no-JavaScript fallback. Alternative: request any page’s content by email.
  • Decorative visual theme — the site uses translucent “glass” surfaces over a dark background; while body text meets contrast requirements, some decorative elements are intentionally low-contrast and are marked as decorative for assistive technology.

Feedback and contact

If you hit a barrier on this site, or need any information from it in another format, contact ops@demiurge.systems or use the form at /contact. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We aim to respond promptly and to fix genuine barriers rather than defend them.

Alternative formats and reasonable adjustments

You can request the content of any page — including all legal policies — as plain text or another format that works for you, and we will provide it by email. If a step in our sales or onboarding process is inaccessible to you, we will complete it with you by an alternative route (for example by phone or email) as a reasonable adjustment.

Compatibility

The site is built to work in current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on desktop and mobile. Our own verification to date has been carried out primarily in Chromium-based browsers; the technologies used (standard HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no browser-specific APIs) are expected to behave equivalently in other modern browsers.

Technical information

Accessibility of this site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript working together. Pages are rendered client-side with React; the legal and accessibility pages additionally ship a prerendered static copy of their content so they remain readable if scripts fail to load.

How we assessed this site

This statement is based on a self-evaluation completed on 1 August 2026, covering the public pages listed under “Scope”. The evaluation combined code-level review of semantics, keyboard behaviour, and contrast; automated accessibility scans (axe-core); and scripted keyboard-navigation and reflow testing in a real Chromium browser. No third-party audit has been performed yet.

Preparation and review of this statement

This statement was prepared on 1 August 2026 and reflects the assessment of that date. It is reviewed and updated when the site changes materially, and in any case by 1 February 2027.

If you are not satisfied

If you have reported a barrier and are not happy with our response, reply to the same thread asking for escalation, or write to ops@demiurge.systems with the subject “Accessibility escalation”; escalations are reviewed by company management. You may also have rights under applicable equality law, including the Equality Act 2010 in Great Britain.
